Rainbows and fun spring activities are popping up everywhere! My preschoolers love learning centers that give them independence to be like the “big kids” – the kids in the 4 year-old classes. We have been drawing pictures and writing detailed “sentences” about them both in circle time and in our writing center. The kids have been working with numbers in our number count center from my Learning with Hearts packet. Soon, they will be working with rainbow colors, letter and number pots of gold, and shamrock patterns!
GOLD Coins & Rainbows
The polka dot rainbow preschool activity can be used in many ways. Add play dough to work on color matching, fine motor skills and coordination. {The dollar store has the perfect colors in mini-sets!) Have your kiddos pinch some play dough, roll it into a ball in their hands or on the table, and then squish the ball on the correct color of the rainbow!
Another fun way to use the color version of the printable rainbow is to fill the rainbow with pom poms!
The FREE rainbow and pot of gold printables can be found {HERE}.
Print out the rainbows and pot of gold activities for your students or your little ones at home!

We haven't played with play dough mats in a while! I'll have to try this with my preschooler too! Thanks for linking up at the Thoughtful Spot Weekly Blog Hop! We hope you join us again next week!
