CANDY HEART PATTERNS {math activity}

Valentine’s Day is almost here!  This means that candy can be found in every store that you go into.  Instead of buying it to eat…buy it to learn with.  With 4 different versions of candy hearts available this year – regular conversation, mini, large, and ABC – there are so many ways to use them in the classroom!

Patterning is just one of the many math and science activities that can be fun to do with candy. The printable you need can be found {HERE}.  Just print on cardstock and play!  The LARGE Conversation Hearts are perfect for this FREE printable activity.

There are 4 versions of the patterns that you can print!

• ABA patterns
• ABB patterns
• ABC patterns
• Make your own patterns!

The patterns can be laminated and cut into strips and put on book binder rings or left as a whole sheet and laminated (or use page protectors if you haven’t invested in a laminator yet!).  No prep is needed!
