What is a busy bin exactly?
A busy bin is similar to a busy bag activity. You put the activity together and store it in a bin to be used over and over again. Busy bins are reusable learning activities – prep once and play forever!

TRANSPORTATION FINE MOTOR BUSY BINS
Rocket Uppercase Letter Cards – Build the uppercase letters with star mini erasers as the rocket blasts off into outer space.
Truck Shape Cards – Form the shape in the back of the truck with play dough and then trace the dotted lined shapes with a dry erase marker.
Spare Tire Bead Count – Identify the number on the card and add that many black pony bead “spare tires” to the pipe cleaner.
Pom Pom Cars Color Sort – Use kid-friendly squeezers to add the correct colored pom poms to each car card.
Things That Go Play Dough Cards – Use play dough to form the picture on the card and a dry erase marker to trace the letters in the word.
Garbage Truck Counting Cards (1-20) – Create pieces of garbage out of ripped up paper and add the correct number of pieces of garbage to the garbage truck card.
Stacking Cars – Roll a die and add that many vehicle erasers to the hook on the end of the tow truck. Keep rolling and stacking until the stack falls, and then play again.
Things That Go Magnet Words – Build the word on the card with uppercase or lowercase magnet letters on the card.
Truck Tracing Cards – Use a dry erase marker to trace the lines across the truck from left to right or top to bottom.
Number Puzzles – Includes 4 puzzles to put together correctly while making sure the numbers are in order and the pictures match up correctly.
Number Roll & Cover (1-6 and 7-12)– Roll the die, identify the number, and cover that same number on the card with a snap cube. Roll again and keep covering the numbers shown on the die.
Color Linking Cars – Match the cars back up by hooking the same colored cars together with a plastic chain link.
