Smiley Shape Matching Clip Cards

The set of shape clip cards includes 12 super cute smiling shapes.  It has been updated (June 2016) with the sought after heart shape clip card! Each clip card includes 3 shape choices to choose from.  Your little learner needs to match the smiley friend with the correct choice on the side.

The activity is easy to set up!  Simply print the cards on cardstock, cut them apart, and laminate (I use my laminator at home ALL the time!).  Add clear pebbles, buttons, or clothespins depending on your preference or your child’s fine motor abilities.  Clothespins may be frustrating for a young toddler who cannot open them easily, but who still can match the shapes correctly.  There are lots of options that can be used!

No matter what material is used to mark the correct shape when matching, fine motor skills are being strengthened.  When little learners pick up small objects or open and close the clothespins, their fingers are working hard and developing the muscles needed for writing!
Preschool printables are one of our favorite ways to introduce fun learning games!  Add the correct number of seeds to our watermelon counting cards.  Or count and clip the number of butterflies that are in the jars.

Would you be so kind as to add a HEART to this shape series?

And I wanted to thank you for all that you do. My daughter has her first preschool classroom this fall. She is also working on her masters. Busy girl.

Your site has allowed me to help her. Because I can follow your directions and make all of these sets for her. It is fun for me and a big time saver for her.

And THANK YOU for mentioning printing directly on card stock. I would not have thought of that and it works great.
