LITERACY CENTERS
Shamrocks Vocab & Write the Room – 10 shamrock and St. Patricks Day themed vocabulary word cards are included in both uppercase and lowercase versions. Use the cards in your writing area, during social studies, or along with circle time. There are 3 Write the Room recording papers (trace uppercase words, trace lowercase words, write the words on your own) and Color the Room recording sheets included to differentiate instruction.
Shamrock Emergent Readers – 2 levels of readers included
“The Shamrock” – includes repetition, sight words, predictable shape words, and themed words. Includes 2 pages per piece of paper to make copying and assembling books super simple!
“Shamrock” (mini) – 2 words per mini page with use of shape words in the reader. In this mini book, the entire reader is printed on one page. Practice the simple themed words and shape words with clues from the pictures.
Lucky Robot Letter Match – 2 versions – Match uppercase to uppercase letters OR uppercase to lowercase letters while building lucky robot puzzles. A recording sheet is included to write some of the letters matched to practice writing skills.
Pot of Gold Initial Sound Clip Cards – Identify the initial sound of the picture on the pot of gold. Match the beginning sound to the correct letter on the bottom of the card and clip it with a clothespin. All 26 letters are included.
Shamrock & Rhyme Puzzles – Sort and match up the correct rhyming pictures and then color in the rhyming picture on the recording sheet. The learning center includes 10 rhyming puzzles.
Pot of Gold Letter Hunt & Match – Choose one of the 26 uppercase letter cards, identify the letter, and find the matching gold coin letter on the recording sheet. Two recording sheets are included to practice uppercase or lowercase letter matching. Add the letter cards to a sensory bin for added fun!
MATH CENTERS
Shamrock Shape Play Dough Mats – Identify the shape on the horseshoe card and build that shape out of play dough on the shamrock play dough mat.
Missing Number Gold Coin Clip Cards – Practice counting on while finding the missing number on the cards. The number before and after the missing number are listed as clues to help younger learners find the number too. Use a clothespin to clip the correct missing number.
Shamrock Roll & Color – Use the printable dice that include colorful shamrocks OR the printable dice that includes color words. Roll the die, identify the color or color word, and color one shamrock on the recording sheet that same color.
Pot of Gold Number Sort 1-10 – Spread the pot of gold number mats on the table. Sort all of the gold coin number cards (includes numerals, dice dots, tally marks, and fingers to represent each number) among each number mat correctly.
Gold Coin Number Tracing 1-20 – Help the gold coin get to the pot of gold by tracing the numbers along the path. The learning center includes numbers 1-20.
Make Ten Gold Coin Math Cards – Count the gold coins in the pot of gold and then add more to make sure each card has 10 gold coins. Draw the correct amount of gold coins with a dry erase marker or use plastic gold coins, buttons, or pom poms for added fine motor practice.
