ALPHABET RECOGNITION SUMMER PACK
Kite Letter Tracing Cards – trace the uppercase and lowercase letter on each card with a dry erase marker
Popsicle Writing Tray – using a salt writing tray, pick a card and write the letter in the salt using a popsicle stick
Starry Night Search & Write – 3 sets of letter cards – pick a star card and find the match on the recording mat (or recording sheet) and trace the letter – can also be used a write the room activity
Build a Drip Drop Letter – build the uppercase or lowercase letter with pretend drops of water (beads) using the letter formation directions on the card
Lemonade Letter Writing – choose a lemonade letter card, identify the letter, and write the letter on one lemon on the lemonade letter mat
Ice Cream Treat Trace & Write – use dry erase marker to trace the uppercase and lowercase letters on the card and then write the letter using the handwriting lines as a guide
Lowercase Bubble Play Dough Trace – choose a letter and write that letter in play dough using a chopstick
Summer Word Cards – read and spell the word and then trace the letters in the word
Watermelon Write & Wipe – pick a watermelon letter card and write the letter on the watermelon mat – keep writing letters until the mat is full
Gone Fishing for Letters – using a pipe cleaner to hook a magnetic letter, identify the letter, and then trace the matching letter on the card using correct letter formation
