The countdown to Christmas and winter break is on! Our Printable Winter Break Preschool Boredom Busters are our go-to gift for toddlers and preschoolers to keep them busy and learning when school is on break. Even though everyone seems all happy and cheerful now, 1 to 2 weeks off over winter break inevitably causes boredom and maybe even a little fighting between siblings.
Kids will be off their normal routine and schedule, and may need a little guidance when looking for something to do.
13 Printable Winter Break Preschool Boredom Busters
It may just be the busiest time of year, but when little kids are involved, it’s got to be close to the happiest time of year too! There are just a few days left in preschool this year, and we’re busy finishing wrapping parents presents and practicing for our Christmas music program.
I created this printable to give out to my preschoolers as an addition to their Christmas present this week. It includes 13 ways to stay busy over break. These Winter Break Preschool Boredom Busters could also be known as sanity savers for parents!
Simply download and print the list from the file below. I attached mini bubbles (to blow bubbles in the bathtub!) I found in the Christmas party supply aisle with washi tape. The washi tape sticks to the paper, but can easily be removed without tearing!
HINT — To save ink and paper, I used the option to print 4 copies per page during my printing selections in the printer pop-up menu.
The list includes super simple ideas that are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. They also are perfect for older siblings to do along with toddlers and preschoolers.
You can find more details about a few of my favorite activities on the list.
Playing with shaving cream on the windows {HERE} doesn’t have to only be outside during the warm months. Use the inside of a window with less shaving cream OR use a shower door to play!
Making pretend pizzas with real pizza dough is still one of my own preschoolers favorite things to do on a lazy day! You can see all the details {HERE}.
Our Winter Break Preschool Boredom Busters list is the perfect printable for grandkids, nieces, nephews, your students, and your own children.
Make it into a cute gift and add bubbles, a can of shaving cream, cereal to string, and a few pairs of white socks from the dollar store!
